Sanya Mathura

Author & Managing Director at Strategic Reliability Solutions Ltd

Sanya is the Founder of Strategic Reliability Solutions Ltd based in Trinidad and operates in the capacity of Managing Director and Senior Consultant. She works with global affiliates in the areas of Reliability and Asset Management to bring these speciality niches to her clients. She holds her BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering, MSc in Engineering Asset Management and is an ICML certified MLE (Machinery Lubrication Engineer) – the first female in the Caribbean. Sanya was also the first female in the world to achieve the ICML Varnish badges (VIM & VPR).

She is the author and co-author of three books; Lubrication Degradation Mechanisms, A Complete GuideLubrication Degradation – Getting into the Root Causes and Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) I & II Certification Exam Guide. She is currently working on two other books which should be released by the end of the year. When not writing or managing the business, you can find her supporting projects to advocate for women in STEM.

 

Mitch Crocker

Senior Project Manager who works in Continuous Improvement at CenterPoint Energy

Mitchell Crocker, PMP, is a Senior Technical Analyst who works in Information Technology at CenterPoint Energy located in Houston, Texas. He has been leading and supporting workforce development initiatives for this organization since the beginning of 2017. He has worked on Telecommunications infrastructure projects for over 16 years.

Mr. Crocker is Chair of the Knowledge & Learning Committee for UTC (Utilities Technology Council) and UTC Region 7 Vice Chair. He is a UTC Emerging Leader award recipient (2019). He has contributed to four articles in the UTC Journal and serves on its Editorial Advisory Board. He serves as a community leader at the United Way of Greater Houston, a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, member of the Economic Development
Committee for the National Black MBA Association Houston Chapter, President, and PM for the Greater Southeast Community Empowerment Council, and advocate for his fraternity, leading the effort to minimize domestic violence and providing a positive influence on the youth throughout the state of Texas.

Mr. Crocker holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governors University and MBA with a concentration in Organizational Development & Change from Houston Baptist University (HBU). He is an adjunct professor at HBU in the College of Business. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He will be pursuing a doctorate degree in HR Development from the University of Texas at Tyler in the Fall.
