Being Compelled to Take Action

I was talking to three people at a conference. Two were engineers, and one was a distributor in the utility industry. We happened to be in the back of a room and sharing small talk before a technical presentation was about to start. Eventually, the technical presentation started. It included a Q&A and was just under an hour. After it was over, I asked the three individuals what they thought of it. The first person said, “I liked his presentation. He was to the point. Where is he located?” The second person said, “Wow! He was good. I want to get his information.” Finally, the third person said, “Yes, he was totally on the mark. I want to stay connected with him as well.”

What I found interesting is no one talked about the actual technical information, but all three felt compelled to take action to want to know more.
